Pedodontics (Pediatric Dentistry) aims to protect the healthy milk and permanent teeth of children aged 0-14, to eliminate the problems caused by caries, trauma, hereditary and similar factors in these teeth, and to improve the oral-dental health and jaw-facial development of children from infancy onwards. It is a branch of dentistry that monitors and treats, and also includes preventive measures. During this period, pedodontists perform all kinds of preventive and therapeutic treatments and protective practices according to the oral and dental health needs of babies, children and young people.
